Fall Shopping Guide. Staple pieces you need to buy this season!

It's fall y'all! I know, it's been fall for over a month now. BUT down south, its finally starting to feel like it! So now that I can actually wear my sweaters and boots without bursting in flames, I thought it would be a great time to share what I will be wearing this season.

Let's start with Boots. This season everyone, (well not everyone, those who can afford to drop that cash...) has been trying to get their hands on the hottest new boot of the season. The Bottega Veneta Bounce Combat Boots. Think combat chic. Its the perfect boot to pair with everything. Jeans, skirts, shorts. Definitely a great addition to your closet. Chunky Knits. Just knits in general. Give them to me! I just recently bought a knit sweater vest with the matching skirt. I was on the fence with buying it because I tend to wear pants more than skirts, but I was ready to jump out of my comfort zone. Knits are a great piece to have because you can do so much with them. Right now over sized Knits are the jam because they are perfect for layering and finishing off a look. They are perfect pieces for southern weather where it doesn't get that cold. Faux Leather baby! Leather and (Faux) is here to stay! A Leather look can be both edgy and classy depending on how you style it. Leather can be used as a layering piece of just a full blown statement piece. My favorite leather outfit would be some black leather pants with a classic white button down and some statement earrings finished off with a sexy pump. Or a whole leather suit. Y'all know I love a suit and a suit I will wear! The day of only wearing suits for work are long gone. Suits are such a staple piece in my closet because of the versatility. I love them because I can break them up to make additional outfits or wear them together. Even thought most of my suits are colorful that doesn't mean I can't wear them into the fall. Matter of fact, color is here to stay! So don't put that pink away! Adding a chunky kit to a suit bottom or paring a leather pant to that suit jacket will make a perfect fall power fit. Oversized Shirts. I can't get enough of an oversized top. Perfect piece to wear to brunch to hide the food baby you will grow knocking back those bottomless mimosas. Oversized shirts are perfect under a knit vest paired with some boots and a printed legging, or paired with a leather skirt, denim or trousers.
