Five things you need to buy on your next Trader Joes visit
Yesterday I made my way to the grocery store we all are obsessed with, Trader Joes. I was hosting a social distance get together for a few girlfriends (and by a few I mean 2) and wanted to grab a few of my favorite things I always pick up when I’m entertaining. Because I’m not a selfish person, I’m sharing the goods below. So make sure you add these to your next TJ visit and tell me what you think.
1. The first thing I ALWAYS grab is their Secco Strawberry and Raspberry Rossini. If you are looking for a sweet, light and fruity wine, This is it! It kinda taste like a strawberry daiquiri but with wine. The raspberry isn’t the dominate flavor here so if you’re not a fan then you have nothing to worry about. Bonus! You don’t have to worry about looking for a corkscrew because this gem has a twist top. ANNNNNND its like 6 bucks. Go grab a few.
2. Next on my list is their Spinach and Sour Cream dip. This thick and creamy dip was a big hit last night. If you’re a fan of spinach dips this is a good one to try out. They don’t skimp on the Spinach at all. My only regret is that I didn’t buy more.
3. So this one is a new obsession. Last week I decided to try their Sparkling Strawberry Juice. I only bought one can because honestly I’m not really a fizzy drink kinda girl and would have been mad if I didn’t like it . After trying this beverage I was mad at myself for not buying more! This deliciousness can be enjoyed alone or added to some Vodka. Let’s just say I bought three cases yesterday. They come 4 to a case and If I’m not mistaking, they are like 3.99. Word on the street is this is a seasonal drink so I suggest you go grab them NOW before they are gone.
4. I’ve jumped on the charcuterie train. Last night I wanted to make my own because honestly I didn’t have time to order from this company here in NOLA that makes them. I know their Meat and Cheese Selection is pretty good so I grabbed a few items and made my very own board. Wasn’t hard at all. Paried it with some crackers and jam. Instant fancy hit!
5. So these aren’t necessarily for entertaining but they can be. I’m just not sharing! The Trader Joes Gone Bananas treat are frozen dark chocolate-covered slices of banana heaven. I started buying these for the kids for their after dinner treat. But find myself eating them more than them. For 1.99 you really can’t beat this healthy-ish delight.
Ok, my list can go on so I’ll stop now. Drop your favorite Trader Joes treat. Also, let me know of you’ve tried anything on my list above.
Happy Sunday Fam
